moving into the heart of seattle amongst the urban dwellers (and homeless) has been fantastic!  i love waking up and walking only 4 blocks to work :)  i have never been an early riser, but the reality of waking up around 8 and getting to work before 8:45 is perfect (after actually doing my hair instead of putting it in a ponytail). 

the week before labor day i had a few people over to celebrate the fact that i had actually unpacked all my boxes!  i think it was the hottest day of the year as my west-facing unit was very very warm even with 2 fans running.  we had apps, lasagna, salad and plenty of drinks.  :)  since lisa’s apartment is right next door we cooked the lasagna at her place to keep the heat down and even had the serving buffet for dinner on her new table, which worked out great.
