upon walking to my bus stop this morning i noticed a big gathering of tv crews on the corner of my stop.  i found out that my little neighborhood isn’t quite as sleepy as people think.  from king 5, robber shoots bartender at seattle restaurant:

Police are on the hunt for a robber who shot a bartender overnight at the Seattle restaurant Serafina in the Eastlake neighborhood.

Police say the people were still inside the restaurant when a robber pulled a gun and demanded money.  Police believe the 23-year-old bartender refused to give any money.  After a short confrontation, the robber shot him in the arm.
