boline’s leaving gglo for greener pastures (or free coffee @ starbucks), so schack & lyons decided what better way to celebrate than to rent a private karaoke room!  upon appraoching SBK (seattle’s best karaoke) just off minor & stewart, i thought i was walking into a medical office with all the white walls, white VCT tile floors & private rooms lining the hallway…   they rent out the rooms & allow people to get a banquet permit so we could bring our own drinks.  but once inside, it was a blast!  it felt like the days in your parent’s basement… 

they had been there for over an hour by the time i arrived so the bag of ice they brought for the beer had melted all over the floor, and the coffee table was full of empties. :)  i have never been one to get up and sing (except for that one time with nate @ the northside in burwell), but by the end of the night they had thrown the mic in my hand and i was singing some red hot chili peppers with schack.  schack is quite the performer, bringing his years of experience from his basement recording days.  boline and chris lyons were also hilarious!
